About

Me, in fewer words than I would like.

I’m Vikas, a software engineer in Mumbai.

I was born here, went to school here, and have worked here ever since. I like Java, I like small tools that do one thing well, and I like being outdoors more than I can usually manage.

Away from the screen I walk hills, ride a bike and a cycle, read in Hindi and English, and write a little shayari under another name. The notes on this site are mostly about that side of life.

Me on Musafir, a grey and gold TVS Ronin, stopped on a wet ghat road under low cloud.
