A Month on Pedals

A Rockrider ST520, a monsoon September, and a global charity challenge that turned into my longest month on a cycle.

I bought my first cycle in December 2021, a Rockrider ST520 mountain bike. I have done thousands of kilometres on it since.

In September 2025 my company ran a global charity challenge. I took it on with the cycle, and in thirty days I rode 1,100 kilometres. One of those days was 111 kilometres on its own.

It was all during the monsoon.

The big month was not a one-off. I have done 50, 70, 75 and 100-plus kilometre rides, and I still do.
